My Project

At our school in rural Mississippi, we’re dedicated to providing students with opportunities to explore and thrive in STEM. Our computer science class is full of bright, creative minds eager to learn, but due to our economically disadvantaged community, access to tools and technology is limited. That’s why I’m requesting 3D pens to bring a whole new dimension to our lessons.

3D pens allow students to design and build their own creations, transforming their ideas into tangible objects.

This hands-on learning experience will help them develop essential skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and spatial awareness, all while reinforcing the core principles of computer science.

By integrating 3D pen projects into our curriculum, we aim to foster an environment of innovation where students can visually see the results of their programming efforts. These pens will not only enhance their understanding of design and technology, but also provide them with the motivation to pursue future careers in STEM fields.

For many of our students, access to technology is a luxury, not a given. With these 3D pens, we’ll be able to teach them new and exciting concepts in computer science, opening doors to opportunities that they may not have imagined. This project will give our students the chance to develop both technical and soft skills that will benefit them in the classroom and beyond.
