Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second graders are the kindest, most generous, and caring group of children I have ever had the honor of teaching.

Receiving new books for their classroom library will help them continue to be excited about reading.

A more diverse set of books will open their eyes to a bigger world.

Every day, I have the students read with a buddy. They get to choose which book they want to read together from the classroom library. I am hoping to expand my little library to give them more options of wonderful books to read!
