My Project

Students in my groups come each day ready to learn and grow with a positive attitude. Using hands on manipulatives help mathematicians understand concepts visually and help grasp the "how" and "why" in math. The materials will be used to develop number sense skills with struggling mathematicians.

ALL students can be strong mathematicians!

Students will utilize the materials to enhance number recognition, relate numbers to quantities and grow in subitizing. Learners will work collaboratively to match numerals with amounts, play games with the ten frame dice to develop number sense and use the dominoes to begin subitizing and thinking about parts that make a whole.
