My Project

Students need notebooks and pens for their study, and these physical journals and supplies address that simple need as well as more abstract and complex needs. When we are bombarded constantly with digital signals, it can be useful to separate from technology sometimes and to have some analog methods for interacting with the world.

Technology is great, but sometimes handwritten notes, and even doodles in the margins, can provide not only a record of our ideas but a form valuable in itself.

Sure, having the entire library of human history in our pockets can be handy, but reviewing our ideas in our own handwriting is different than seeing them in print. Even transcribing quotes into our notebooks before writing about them is very different than copying/pasting.
