My Project

Many of my English language learners do not have access to many arts and craft supplies as many of their parents are trying to pay for their basic necessities. The metal stamping kit, diamond painting, and mini canvases will enable my my students to have access to painting materials and crafting supplies, so they can use them to share their creativity. They will also be able to create special memories with one another as they work together afterschool on these art projects. Students that had been secluded from each other during the pandemic will now be able to once again socialize with one another afterschool. These types of activities after school have helped in the social emotional well being of many of my students. In addition, this creative environment also provides the students with a nurturing environment where they feel a sense of belonging.
