Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our new curriculum requires our littles to create their own books about a variety of topics. Our current topic is trees and students are researching the different types of trees there are, what they need to survive, and what animals depend on each type of tree. For our students culminating project they are going to write an informational text about one of the trees they have researched.

We would love to be able to bind our students book projects so they are able to save the memory of their first "published" book for years to come.

Being that this is a new curriculum to our school this binding machine will be a useful resource in our classroom for years to come. In addition to being able to bind our students work into books we could also use the machine to turn their end of year portfolios into books, as well as using the machine to create communication board flip books for our non-verbal students.
