My Project
My students will benefit from this project because it will allow them to be more creative in the classroom without my current daily reminders of supply limitations. I am pleased and excited that my students want to consistently learn, create and explore.
The materials listed in my project will enable me to replenish supplies, so students won't be limited with their creations as they are now.
I have tried to purchase materials on my own, but I often run out and students ask me for more. The materials in my project include some of the essential items that students usually share in centers. This project will allow my students to have more materials to use and will lessen the "I had it first!" conversations. Students use construction paper, colored pencils, crayons, and markers often and the supplies in this project will help students to create beyond their imaginations.
I have found through the years that students enjoy writing and adding colors and pictures to their work. "The Sky is the Limit" of what they could do when they have the necessary supplies to do it. As a teacher who writes poetry and plays in my spare time, it is important to me to encourage my young writers and artists to be creative on a daily basis.
