Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is full of gifted and talented kindergartners that are very eager to learn each morning that they walk into our classroom. They come from all different kinds of backgrounds and countries. A lot of them are new to the United States, and they are always excited to experience new things.

Their excitement and curiosity inspire me to make the best educational experience for them each day.

We've created an encouraging little family in our room and work together to learn, grow, and lead.

My Project

These LEGO bricks, base plates, and storage will help me build a new LEGO station for our classroom. This station will open the door to a whole new way for the students to explore new topics and demonstrate their new understanding.

This station will provide a whole new opportunity for students to develop their creativity and engineering skills.

Students will be able to use the station during lessons to follow instructions to build specific projects based on what we are learning. They will also be given the time to use it freely to build projects from their own imagination. The station will also be used in their writing station where they can bring their stories to life using the bricks and base plates.
