Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I work with an awesome group of artistic students. Their unique talents have allowed them to express themselves through arts and crafts. They are always eager to create new master pieces. Crafting has become therapeutic for my students with disabilities. It allows them to find a sense of calmness and relaxation. Crafting has also become a rewarding experience for my students. They are always excited to make arts and crafts they can gift to local nursing homes and preschool students. To see the proudness and joy in their faces when making others smile is priceless.

Please assist me in providing my students with supplies that will not only allow them to express themselves through visual arts, but to help spread kindness throughout the community.

Providing my students with supplies to make bracelets, coasters, wood crafts, and making flower pots can help them perfect their talents that will uplift the community by brightening someone's day with a handmade craft especially for them. Students will create crafts during their art time and deliver items on a scheduled visit with the school. Teaching and supporting my students in sharing kindness in community helps us all carryout our civil duties. Your support in helping us would be greatly appreciated.
