Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting will support student engagement and learning. The classroom environment sets the stage for learning and I am looking to make ours supportive, inviting, organized, and flexible.

My goal with this project is to support my students learning by differentiating curriculum according to students' academic, social, and physical needs, along with creating areas in the classroom for small group instruction.

The cushions and stools will give us flexible seating opportunities for small groups. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards and math visuals will help me differentiate the curriculum for students with learning needs. The "small parts organizer" will help the students keep their letter tiles organized. The beginning of the year is all about getting to know students and showing them that our classroom is a safe, exciting, and enriching place to learn. These materials will help us start out strong.
