Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, students engage in hands-on coding and construction projects, following detailed instructions to build with Legos and motorized components. They also apply their coding skills on the computer, requiring intense focus and problem-solving. Given the mental effort involved, it's essential for students to have opportunities to destress when they encounter challenges, helping them stay motivated and engaged

Coloring and creating animals with Play-Doh provide a calming and creative outlet for students, helping them destress and reset before refocusing on their tasks.

These activities offer a much-needed break from intense problem-solving, allowing students to return with renewed focus and energy. By integrating fun and interactive stress-management strategies, students can develop resilience, build healthy coping mechanisms, and access valuable support systems that promote their overall well-being.
