My Project

A 3D printer in our classroom will help my students bring their creations to life along with cultural connection. It will make a huge difference in their learning promoting cognitive benefits such as problem solving and creative thinking.

The goal for this 3D project is for my students to create and bring to life storytelling figures.

Using 3D printing, students can create figures that represent characters from our traditional Blackfeet stories, allowing them to better understand and share these oral traditions. This project would combine creative design, cultural learning, and technological skills, helping students connect with our Blackfeet traditions and stories while exploring modern tools like 3D printing.

My students are special and they are young cultural ambassadors and always willing to learn and share about our Blackfeet worldview, customs, and history with others. My students have a strong sense of identity and I want them to share that with everyone they come across.
