Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having noise reducing, free standing room partitions will help us to create learning areas in my classroom. We will be able to create stations for students to work in where they are not distracted by what their classmates are working on.

I hope to use these dividers to aid in the participation and learning of my students.

The dividers will be used when small groups are taking place and distractions need to be limited. Students taking movement breaks will be able to do so without calling attention to themselves.

My class is made up of students with Autism from transitional kindergarten through second grade. Their skills and abilities range greatly. Some of my students are nonverbal and need toilet training. Others spend various time in the general education classroom. They are all special in their own way. They deserve any opportunity we can give them to be more successful.
