My Students

Have you ever felt that you wanted to create beautiful things but did not have the resources to do so? My students always ask to create pieces of art but we never seem to have enough materials to design masterpieces.

My students are a mix of General and Special Education Students.

They come from a low income society which hinders my ability to ask for more than the basic school supplies. Sometimes my students do not like to share family information but when they create a piece of art they often love to engage in the story behind the creation.

My Project

I am asking for basic art supplies such as pom poms, art paper, paint, paint brushes, tissue paper and the drying rack because my students love to create and we are in need of these supplies. We love to create different objects for the beginning sounds of the alphabet, various seasons, and self portraits. These are just a sample of the art projects I would like to do with my students. With these tools, we will turn our classroom into decorated work of art.

These supplies will make a huge impact on my students because they will get to express themselves through beautiful art projects.

These art projects will link school and home in a positive way. Students will be proud to bring home creations they have made and will love to share both at school and home how they created it and why.
