Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school students are wanting to create projects that can be both utilitarian and artistic. We have opted for sublimation to create water bottles that will help eliminate the use of plastic throwaway bottles. Also, we want to create and sell projects like shirts, puzzles, and magnets that feature student artwork and can be used to fund our school art program.

These projects will not only allow students to create art, but to also perform cost analysis, profitability, and experience first hand how to market and sell items to generate funds.

This brings hands-on creating and critical decision making together for a unique real world art/business experience.
