Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The children feel so excited coming to school every day. They love and enjoy exploring their classroom. The students have begun to recognize letters from their own name and have been counting different objects at the math center.

If I can include alphabet, number and counting rubbing plates in the art center the children can continue to practice letter and number recognition.

They are also learning how to count and understand the relationship between numbers and quantities.

Mr. Potato head and squish squeeze sensory beads would also be a great addition to our classroom because it will help children develop and improve their language as well as strengthen their fine motor skills.
