it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This Earth Day I want to introduce my students to the joy of gardening! Living in an urban area it is necessary to utilize our small spaces into creative areas.
My students will use multi tiered, raised garden beds to plant, nurture and then use garden to table vegetables to create healthy meals.
Together we will learn how to grow, care and distribute the vegetables we grow!
The soil, seeds and gardening tools will bring real life skills to life using our environment to instill the love of earth, gardening and our environment!
