My Students

S. Academy is home to students ranging in age from 11-20 years of age.

Our school is home to students with varying behavior and emotional disorders.

Students here benefit from hands-on instruction. Like all students, students at S. Academy would benefit from enhancing their 21st century skills. Through providing students with access to an iPad and an apple TV we can make our classroom a more interactive learning environment.

My Project

I am asking for an iPad mini with a case, IPEVO Ziggi USB Camera, an apple TV and multiple copies of 8 different books including Divergent, Looking for Alaska, and The Maze Runner. My students will use the materials requested to help make our classroom a more interactive environment. Aside from the technology which students will use to research and display their projects, the new books are all high interest reads. Each of the books was individually selected based on students' learning preferences here at S. Academy. They will be used as part of reading/discussion circles.

These donations will help our classroom immensely.

Through acquiring these materials, my students will be provided with a more interactive learning environment. They will be encouraged to participate in interactive learning activities which will help to meet the needs of all individual learners.
