My Students

My students are hard-working, sweet, happy, loving, energetic, excited, all around good-natured and well-behaved students. I love being with them, helping them, and spending time with them. They make my day by just seeing their bright smiling faces.

I didn't know how much I could love teaching more until I met them and have spent time with them.

They make being a teacher one of the greatest jobs on earth. They are truly the best and I am so happy that we have been able to grow together. They have expanded my heart.

My Project

After teaching behind a piece of plexiglass I would love to have an iPad and stylus to be able to move around the classroom while I am teaching. This mobility will allow me to create anchor charts or share documents from anywhere in the room instead of being stuck behind a desk. I feel that students are really in need of more physical proximity to stay engaged. The iPad will allow me to facilitate this in my classroom. When my students enter my classroom each morning, I would like my students to enter in with soft calm music playing. Recently my sound system hasn't been loud enough for the students to hear and I am hoping to replace it with this project. This will help students arrive calm and ready for the day. The Qball is exciting and engaging which will make lessons more interactive and students will want to participate in such a fun way.
