My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges we are facing is providing an area outside for our students to have experiences in nature they may never get the change to have in their homes.

I need an outdoor bench that will allow the staff and students to create an outdoor area for learning and play.

These supplies will provide hands on experiences for students that may not have the ability or opportunity to experience otherwise.

The students and families may not have the financial freedom to provide extra resources above and beyond what is in the school already. By helping provide different environments and learning experiences, we will help make sure our students continue their learning with ease throughout the school day!

My Project

This bench will be used to help build and create an outdoor learning area for our preschool. Our district believes in learning through play. By providing them an outdoor area we can use our imagination, take risks, play, and experience science like we have never before. This area will provide students a spot to learn about the outdoors, integrate science into real life learning, and help with growing and maintaining the land.

The outdoor bench will help us build and create an outdoor learning area that is safe and easy to access for students at all parts of the day.

The students and teachers can access this at any time. The teachers will be able to use this area for hand on learning and experiences paired with the curriculum being taught.
