Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Your donation will help to provide a back to school supply starter kit and decor to create a calming and welcoming environment in my classroom.

For many of my students, school is their safe haven.

Each year, I strive to give my students a space that promotes a love for learning. The "All is Welcome" decor, laminator to create posters, borders and paper will allow me to design an environment that is welcoming for all the students who will enter my classroom this year. When students have a space that is inviting they are more likely excited to come into the classroom each day.

The basic supplies we will use starting the first day such as erasers and markers. These supplies will put students at an ease who may not be able to afford them to engage in everyday task or lessons. By having these materials on hand, it will allow for all students to have equal access to the tools needed to be successful during academic learning.
