Creating a Tradition of Excellence in Band

My Project

My students are very hard working and enjoy making music together in my band classes. They approach challenges with a good attitude and push themselves to grow as musicians in my classroom. The Christian County Middle School band program has earned Distinguished ratings in the Kentucky Music Educators Association. We want to continue on this trajectory and push the students to even newer musical heights.

The band method books will help my students begin their musical journey on the right foundation.

The Tradition of Excellence book series has been developed by top-notch educators with the students in mind. Adding this book to our classroom resources will allow me to give the very best to my students. The books feature familiar songs which will make learning music fun while also challenging them along the way. The book has different levels as the students progress as musicians. The Tradition of Excellence series will grow with the students. The students will use different levels of the book as they continue through their music education.
