My Project

Hello, I’m a teacher of a self-contained class, and my goal is to provide my students with a learning environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and equipped for success, both in person and online through our Saturday Academy.

To achieve this, I am requesting the following:

1. Noise-Canceling Headphones: These headphones will help my students focus in a busy classroom environment by minimizing distractions. They will be invaluable for students who may be sensitive to noise or need to concentrate on independent tasks.

2. Headphones with a Mic: For our Saturday Academy, which offers online learning support, these headphones will allow students to engage more actively and comfortably during our digital sessions. Clear audio is essential for fostering communication and interaction in virtual learning spaces.

3. Laminating Paper: To protect learning materials, visual aids, and personalized supports, laminating paper will allow us to create durable resources that can be used repeatedly, benefiting all learners.

4. Snacks: A small but essential part of creating a supportive environment, snacks will help fuel my students during long sessions, providing comfort and helping them stay focused, especially during online sessions where long screen time can be tiring.

With these items, we will create a welcoming and efficient learning environment where every student, no matter their learning style or needs, can feel supported and succeed.
