This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator working with Multilingual Language Learners (MLs) and English as a Second Language (ESL) students, I am seeking your support to provide privacy boards that will create a focused, secure, and fair testing environment for our students. These privacy boards will help our students perform at their best during English language proficiency assessments and other standardized tests.

During assessments, many of our students face distractions and anxiety that can impact their performance.

Privacy boards provide an essential barrier, allowing students to concentrate on their tasks without the worry of being preoccupied by their peers or external visual distractions. With these boards, students will have the space they need to focus on their language skills and showcase their true potential.

Your donation will provide privacy boards for our classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to take assessments in a quiet and undistracted setting. These boards will not only support English language proficiency tests but also foster a calm and focused learning environment year-round.
