My Students

Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.

I am dedicated to my students.

It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.

Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.

My Project

My county is returning to school in August. To help support a safer learning environment during COVID-19 I want to provide my students with clear desk shields. These desk shields are personal, portable and can be cleaned daily.

These shields will allow my students to engage with each other in a safe way.

They will help my students be safer as the number of active cases in our area continue to rise. These are perfect for all students, but especially for those students who are unable to wear a mask the entire day at school. Thank you for your support!
