My Students

The students' and I have decided to write our own book and to create beautiful artwork to accompany the writing. We will be using a great deal of technology to do so and will need a reliable printer and scanner to do this project.

My students are brilliant, sophisticated, loving children who have learned that being a learner is not only about grammar, mathematics, science, and reading; but also about being brave and courageous.

They come to school each day prepared to face the challenges of third grade and ready to learn. They help one another to be stronger, wiser, and kinder each and every day.

My Project

As we write our book, we will need to be able to print out the pages that each child writes. Without a working printer there is no way to make that happen. Additionally, we will need to be able to scan their artwork into the computer so that it can be properly formatted. This printer/copier/scanner will make our book not just something we would like to do, but a project we will do!

When our project is complete, we will host an evening where every child's family is invited to hear our book read aloud and have the pictures viewed.

The students will get to share their ideas and dreams about heroes with all of their family and have their hard work truly pay off. Please help us to make this project a reality and consider making a donation to our printer/scanner/copier for this incredible writing experience. Thank you!
