My Project

I am excited to get into a new groove in a new classroom! I want to make this transition as smooth as possible for my kids next year, and one way that is completed is by getting some necessities for this new space.

In first grade, students are making huge leaps and bounds and a comfortable, safe, and organized learning environment will help!

I am planning to give my students their own individual spots to sit when they are spread out and using floor space. This will give them ownership of a spot as well as giving us more flexibility. The students will also benefit from seeing their work displayed on the tack strips in and outside of the classroom. Using the tubs for storage in our cubbies will help reduce the amount of time spent looking for supplies and other things.
