This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The start of new school year has always brought me so much joy. This year there is one new reason to be excited about. As the population of English language learners has grown, I have finally been given a bigger space to work out of. The only problem is that it is lacking a modern dry erase board.

That is why I need your help to turn the outdated chalkboard into a functioning dry erase board that my students and I can use.

For this project I am asking for dry erase contact paper. This paper will be used to cover the chalkboard and other surfaces so that it can be used as a functional dry erase board. The magnetic holders will be used to organize dry-erase markers, dry-erase erasers, cleaning spray and other items. The magnetic clips will be used to hang anchor charts, visuals and other important posters.

This project will have a huge impact not just on my students' learning but my every day teacher practice.
