Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My job as a teacher to young learners is to create a supportive, organized, and stimulating environment where each student can thrive. This project aims to secure vital resources to help foster creativity, concentration, and engagement among my young learners.

Why we need headphones: Headphones will allow students to engage in their online learning interventions and other audio-based learning materials without distraction.

Why we need cleaning and organizing materials: Organization is key to ensure that students can easily access the tools and resources they need for success! Investing in materials such as book bins, storage bins, utility carts, paper, laminating sheets, colored ink, and lysol wipes will help to maintain a clean, clutter-free classroom!

Why we need STEM and sensory materials: Items such as fidget toys, building tools, flashlights, Play-Doh, wiggle cushions, crafting tools, sand timers and lamps will inspire creativity, and help students channel their energy into productive outlets, supporting their ability to concentrate and learn.

Lastly, it's nice to have snacks on hand for students who may get hungry throughout the day or to use during classroom celebrations!
