My Project

An uncomfortable student, is a distracted student. Flexible seating in the classroom will create a comfortable atmosphere where all students will be able to stay calm, focused, and productive. All of my students want to feel empowered and in control of their own choices. Flexible seating can help give that sense of ownership to my students.

Having flexible seating will help create a more active, engaged, enthusiastic, and relaxed room of students.

Flexible seating gives students choice in the classroom. The benefits of flexible seating are endless. It allows for my classroom to create a positive learning environment by helping build a student-centered community. It encourages students to share and take turns. It allows students to quickly pair up, work in small groups, or even have whole classroom discussions, without the distraction of moving desks.

Children need to move! Flexible seating allows to to wobble, rock, bounce, or lay in more comfortable seats around the room. This helps young minds stay more alert and focused throughout the day.
