My Project

I work with an incredible group of students who have autism and unique sensory and communication needs. Each day, they bring so much determination, curiosity, and joy to our classroom, despite the challenges they face. I want to create a classroom that is not only functional but also feels like a welcoming, calming space where they can thrive.

This project will allow me to provide a calming sensory corner with a darkening tent, a soft rug, and a variety of tactile and visual sensory tools to help my students self-regulate and refocus.

I’m also requesting items like soft lighting, cozy seating options, and organizational materials to make our entire classroom feel more comforting and supportive. These resources will give my students a safe place to manage sensory needs while also creating an environment that fosters their confidence, focus, and engagement.

Your support will make a meaningful difference for my students. By donating, you’ll help create a space where they can feel comforted and empowered to take on new challenges.
