My Project

I love my students for their unique perspectives and resilience. Each one brings something special to our classroom, and I want to create an environment that embraces their individual needs. Many of my students benefit from sensory-friendly spaces and visual supports to help them focus and engage during lessons. The addition of a bean bag chair and an easel will make a significant difference in our small group learning area.

The bean bag chair will provide a comfortable and calming seating option, allowing students with sensory processing needs to feel more at ease during instruction.

By offering flexible seating, I’m creating an environment that fosters comfort and concentration, which leads to better participation and learning outcomes.

The goal of this project is to create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students, especially those with special needs, feel comfortable and ready to learn. By enhancing our small group area with sensory-friendly seating and visual learning tools, I aim to improve the experiences students have in the classroom.

My students are incredibly diverse learners. They face challenges every day, but they never stop showing their dedication to learning and growing. Whether it's overcoming communication barriers, staying focused, or finding the right way to express their ideas, they are resilient and inspiring. They deserve a learning space that not only meets their needs but also celebrates their individuality and strengths. This project is about giving them the tools to succeed in a way that works best for each of them.
