Creating a Classroom Technology/Media Space for Primary Grades!

Help me give my students new iPad covers for their technology/media centers. There are 200 iPads without cases, so once we puchase them, 200 students will have access to iPads.

My Project

Having iPad cases for our primary grades is our last link to setting up their media centers in the classroom. This will help us bring our library/media resources to the classroom. Students will be able to protect school funded devices and utilize different reading applications. Our goal is to purchase 200 iPad cases.

This project will make it easier for our young, primary students easier access to age appropriate e-learning websites.

We have over 120 iPads that we cannot share with our students because we are in need of iPad cases. We are awaiting 80 more iPads. Purchasing 200 iPads covers will benefit our Pre -K and 2nd grade students. iPads will be protected. Students will be able to use them in a safe manner.

Students will also be able to access a variety of screeners that are currently being administered on Chromebooks. Chromebooks are difficult for children to navigate in primary grades. Students are able to use the touchscreen with ease as long as the device is safely protected.

Students will be able to utilize the technology safely and students who may not have any device access home will be able to borrow these devices knowing that they can keep them safe and protected. Having access to a school loan, protected device will also assist them in their studies. Students will be able to access their Google classrooms and any other educational websites that students can gain academic skills from these tools. Many of our students count on these devices and keeping them safe is our top priority.
