Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a dedicated teacher in a Pre-K Dual Language classroom, I have the privilege of working with students who come from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. My mission is to foster an environment where every child feels loved, respected, and celebrated.

I want to create a classroom where each student’s culture is not just acknowledged but celebrated.

This will be accomplished through carefully selected books and materials that reflect the diverse backgrounds of my students. I believe that by providing my students with enriching experiences, I can instill in them a lifelong love for learning, as well as the values of kindness and compassion.

My goal is to ensure that all my students have access to the most up-to-date resources that make learning about each other’s cultures enjoyable and meaningful. By providing books and materials that allow students to see themselves and others, I aim to create a space where they can learn, play, and grow together in a supportive and inclusive environment.
