My Project

Help me create a calming reading lounge where my students can unwind, read, and focus on their mental wellbeing. This quiet space will offer them a much-needed escape from the busy classroom environment, allowing them to decompress, practice mindfulness, and improve their literacy skills in a stress-free setting.

My students are bright, curious, and passionate learners who face daily challenges both inside and outside of school.

Many come from under-resourced backgrounds, and school is often their only consistent safe haven.

To bring this vision to life, we need bean bags seats and nutritious snacks to make this space inviting and peaceful. The reading lounge will be a quiet spot where students can retreat to read books, reflect, and unwind. Research shows that a calming environment can help students focus and improve their learning outcomes.

This project will make a lasting difference in my students’ lives. The reading lounge will not only improve literacy but also support their mental health, offering them a safe, quiet space to relax and recharge. Your support will help my students thrive academically and emotionally, giving them the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond.
