Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how my students bring so much energy and curiosity to the classroom. Each resource I'm requesting for the calming corner will help them manage their emotions and stay focused on their learning. For example, soft seating and sensory tools will provide them with a comfortable space to take a break and reset when they feel overwhelmed.

My goals for this project are to create a supportive environment where students can develop self-regulation skills and improve their overall well-being.

This calming corner will be a safe haven for them to relax and gather their thoughts, ultimately enhancing their ability to concentrate and participate in class.
