My Project

I would love to establish a calming corner in our classroom. As an educator I am dedicated to creating an optimal learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all my students, and I believe that a calming corner would greatly enhance the well-being and focus of my students. A calming corner provides a safe and structured space where students can practice self-regulation techniques. By engaging in activities that promote relaxation and mindfulness, students can develop essential emotional management. The calming corner will be beneficial for students who struggle with sensory sensitivities, anxiety, to regain focus, or a simple need of a quiet place.
