My Project

Students learn and cope in different ways, which includes art and play. With students returning to face-to-face learning, I want them to thrive in the classroom and out on the playground. We encourage each other and celebrate our little wins.

Many of my students have transitioned well back into the classroom and I would like to continue to support their social-emotional learning.

Through art, I want to maintain their well-being by having a variety of art materials available for the students to utilize. They will be able to use canvas, paint, and colored pens. While at recess, my students will benefit from activities like the lemon twist skip toy, toss and catch game set, skip ball ankle toy, and cornhole toss game. During indoor recess, my students will be able to use interlocking blocks, magnetic letters and dry erase boards. Throughout the school year, students need tangible incentives to work towards, so fidget items are excellent for this purpose. To keep recess equipment organized, my students will have a cart. My students are amazing! This project will only help enrich their social and emotional well-being.
