My Students

Expand our learning! A set of these Chromebooks will enable my students to use online tools and applications to enhance their learning. My students are always eager to work and learn on a computer.

Do you know how great it would be for my students to be handed a Chromebook to use in the classroom?

My students come from high poverty neighborhoods. We are a Charter school in Philadelphia. They are eager to always learn something new. Many of the students do not have access to a computer at home.

My Project

Since many of my students do not have a computer and/or internet service at home, I try to teach them how to use a computer. I am not always able to get computer lab time when I would like it. By having these 12 Chromebooks in my classroom, the students would be able to use them whenever we want. There are so many applications and resources on the computer that would benefit my students. Chromebooks could help raise my students' interest levels in all subjects.

The use of these Chromebooks in my classroom would have such a huge impact on my students.

This is an opportunity to reinforce teaching with the students with subject-specific support online.
