My Students

I am a 1st-grade teacher and my school is located in the Lower East Side. My school is a Title I school, which means nearly all of our students live below the nation-wide poverty line. Our students are very eager to learn but with the Covid-19 I have to be sure that I am following one of the many safety protocols.

Many or almost all of our students live with elderly adults in their homes.

In order to keep them and their family safe during this pandemic, I would like to provide them with individual crates. With this donation, I know that all the students will be following one of the many safety protocols.

My Project

With the difficult events the world is facing, schools are going to have a difficult time opening up this coming school year. However, when the time eventually comes there will be necessary precautions to take. That Is why I am asking for crates for the first grade to store their personal belongings in.

The crates will store students' books, folders, and even personal tissue box under their chairs and away from a communal space.

This is to prevent crowding around an area such as cubbies and make sure everyone is safe.

It would be a great help if we could get these supplies and we thank all who donate money to our cause.
