Do you remember what it was like the first time you could see that your hard work is paying off? Thanks to the generous donors, my students have been playing the electric guitar for one year. We have outgrown the amplifier and we are in need of a bigger and more powerful amplifier.
I teach deep in the heart of urban inner city Paterson, New Jersey.
My students are not only faced with the challenges of schoolwork but unfortunately they are faced with the problems of society as well. Giving my students more positive options, I decided to start an after school music program. We currently have over 100 kids participating in this program.
My Project
I am requesting a Fender combo guitar amplifier. It is important for students to be equipped with the necessary gear to help them become successful. This amplifier will put their sound on the next level. There is no question that proper amplifiers are essential to a successful program.
This project will positively impact the lives of students.
While performing on this amplifier, a student may discover his or her life long passion. Let's keep the arts alive in our schools!
