My Project

I am requesting decorator foil, glitter glue, sculpture wire, and other craft supplies that are running low in our supply closet. Having these fun supplies handy is like having a kitchen full of ingredients when you are ready to cook. Students get ideas in the moment, and being able to offer them a pompom or some feathers to encourage their "what ifs" is how we encourage creative departures from classroom lessons. It's truly where kids get creative. We used feathers, for example, in a kindergarten project this week as we made bird nests. One student wanted their nest to sparkle, so I was able to offer glitter glue and foil. We need pompoms, feathers, popsicle sticks, foil, and other craft supplies to replace these types of items we have recently used up.
