My Project

Help me open the door to the world of crafting to our students! I am ready to teach our elementary students how to use the Cricut cutting machine to create a host of crafts to show our school spirit. We will make items featuring our giraffe mascot and our motto, "Stand Tall! Stand Proud! Be YOU!" Products include keychains, pencil cases, t-shirts, and more! We might even sell some of our items to help fundraise for our school!

With your help, students will learn new ways of expressing their creativity and maybe even experience firsthand what it takes to run a small business--beginning with the creative and production side, understanding inventory management, advertising, and of course, how to be a great salesperson!

Throughout this process, students will undoubtedly face obstacles and failure--experiences that children need in order to truly understand perseverance. My goal is to create an outlet where students can feel comfortable and safe enough to unleash their creativity, all while learning important life lessons!
