My Students

I teach a diverse group of artistic students at a Title I visual and performing arts school in downtown Los Angeles. Students come from all over the city to our public high school to receive a top-notch education in both academics and their chosen art form (music, dance, visual arts or theater) and go on to study at some of the top academic colleges and art schools across the country.

My Fashion Club is very motivated to design and create this year and are not allowing working digitally to slow them down!

My Project

In preparation for returning to in-person instruction, my Fashion Club has been meeting virtually and planning projects for when they return. They want to be able to embellish their projects in a variety of ways.

My students in Fashion Club are some of the most creative kids in the school and with these button makers, jewelry kits, crochet hooks, and cheesecloth they will be able to make a variety of projects to express themselves creativity as a part of their club.

This is especially important during this challenging time to help students have creative outlooks and support their mental health. These projects will be something that students can look forward to and will be so appreciated by my students when we can return to the school and meet in-person. Thank you for your consideration.
