Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a group of young students that really enjoys using hands-on materials. They especially love using play-doh and the tools for both learning and free play. We often use play-doh to form letters, numbers, shapes and animals. They will be so excited for the new tools!

My students also love independent centers and the materials we create for them to learn throughout the day.

Using cardstock and laminating sheets gives us the opportunity to provide fun, differentiated tasks at their tables.

My students will be ecstatic to have play-doh, model magic, and homemade center materials for use in the classroom. We also love to paint, make beautiful crafts and save precious handprint memories for families. These materials will help students to create long-lasting memories and remember kindergarten as a fun, engaging year.
