My Project

I am requesting a Cricut Maker 3 and EcoTank ET-15000 All-In-One Printer for my comprehensive school counseling program. The Cricut Maker 3 is a versatile crafting tool that will allow me to create engaging and interactive visual aids and personalized activities, reinforcing the Zones of Regulation. I will be able to create custom designs like emotion cards, posters, sensory-friendly tools, and interactive charts. I will be able to design and print large visually stimulating charts to help students tract their emotions.

This project will help me empower the students to become more self-aware, confident and emotionally resilient.

This project will also be a positive impact and a beneficial addition to my school-wide classroom guidance lessons, small SEL groups, our state mandated PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) framework, and other school-wide projects throughout the school year.

An Epson EcoTank ET-15000 All-In-One Printer is designed for high-volume printing with its large in tanks. It is the ideal companion for the Cricut Make 3 as there will be frequent print print designs that will need to be cut for the projects. The Cricut Maker 3 will require fine details and high resolution prints to make the most of the cutting process.

The resources created with the Cricut Maker 3 will help students connect with the Zones of Regulation and learn to regulate their emotions in real-time. This project will assist ALL students with recognizing and labeling their emotions with the created colorful cards. The cards can be used in discussions or as a quick reference tool when students need guidance. It encourages self-awareness and helps students develop strategies for regulation.

This ongoing project will have a lasting impact on students by providing them with the necessary tools to understand and regulate their emotions, thus ultimately leading to a more positive learning environment.
