My Project

My students are AMAZING! They are dentists, senators and computer programers of the future. The 4th and 5th grade students I work with are in an after school competitive Robotics program, run through our district, called LEGO League. I've been doing this program for three years and I see so much growth in problem solving and team work. It is inspirational.

My students need a welcoming and engaging classroom to work in, as well as some supplies to keep them motivated.

The classroom that I am moving to in the coming school year is bare and windowless. The light covers, bright bulletin paper, and calming forest mural will help us make the new classroom feel like ours. I am also requesting fidgets, affirmation cards and brain puzzles to further engage my after school students. I want to recognize all their hard work and keep them motivated to persevere through hard coding challenges.
