My Students

Our class is an integrated class with a general education teacher, a special education teacher and 29 students, some of the students have IEP's which mean they have speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or another need that they may need a classroom with 2 teachers in order to get the individualized attention to make them successful.

The class works very well together and always helps one another.

We were just switched to a flexible seating classroom and the children have adapted so nicely! We couldn't be more proud of these kids. They work hard and support one another.

My Project

Help complete our classroom by giving our students new book baskets and lighting to give them the calm learning environment they need to be successful. Some of the students in our class need soothing music and lighting to help them feel relaxed and ready to work and we love to give them the best experience in order to achieve success. The baskets in our classroom are cracked and the books continue to fall out of them. Our students try so hard to take care and be gentle but they are very old baskets. When the students have a functional classroom they feel good about themselves and about learning! The students have so many good things going on in our room let's finish it off with some baskets and lights!
