My Students

If I were able to get this table, my students could sit around it and read. The crates would be used as chairs. I am going to make cushions on them that go with the theme of our classroom.

My students are a great group of kids.

They love to read and enjoy reading in small groups. We are a pubic school in the city. We are going through a rough time right now in our district with budgets being cut daily. Supplies are very limited and those that we have are VERY old.

My Project

My students will sit and read at the table in groups of 6 to 8 other classmates. They will also meet with me during guided reading groups at the table. They will like the crates because they will have custom cushions that I will make that go with our animal print theme.

I know that these items will make my students excited about reading.

They will want to be ale to sit in groups more often if they had a cozy place instead of sitting on the floor.
