My Project

My students love knitting club! Middle school can be stressful for so many reasons. Knitting club gives them a chance to socialize with their peers in a peaceful, non-academic setting while creating hand knit projects. So far they have mastered casting on, the knit stitch and binding off. They have only made small projects such as headbands and phone cases. They are eager to move on to bigger projects.

My students want to make cozy scarves and hats for the winter.
